I can't believe it's our last day in SG.
Our departure time was 4:45pm so still got time in the morning to go to the famous Orchard Road. Honestly, I didn't know first that this is a famous tourist attraction. I just realized when we got back to my homeland. This is the famous and major shopping street. It's a home for fashion, high-end stores and the best place for people who love shopping and has a lot of extra money! (not for me, but taking pictures for memories are free! Diba! :D )

Day 4 - Back to Changi Airport
We bid goodbye to the family who let us stay in their place for three nights. Truly Filipinos are the most hospitable person in the world. How can we live in a foreign land for the first time without their guide? We really appreciate the family.
We arrived in the airport three hours before our scheduled flight and we found out that our flight was delayed. While waiting, we went to GST Refund machine, where you can have your tax refund when you buy goods in Singapore. Travel Tip: Make sure not to throw away your original receipts and make sure to ask for receipt before you leave the shop. There are some stores which they can directly refund the tax so you won't need to to claim your tax refund in the airport. Like the one for my luggage that I bought in one of the malls in Singapore (I forgot where I bought it) and I was able to claim my tax refund directly from their store.

We ate at McDonald's before we finally leave Singapore. Mcdo offers a different flavor of ketchup which they don't offer in our country. So sad! It tasted like a sweet chili sauce (the lighter color on the photo below).

And now, it's really time to say goodbye to the first country my hubby and I had ever traveled. Thank you Lord for keeping us safe all the time. Truly Singapore is a safe place to travel. I don't even remember we had struggled during our trip.
Also, I most enjoyed riding the MRT everyday. There are many Singapore MRT Map apps to choose from in Google Play Store for Android users and App Store for IOS users. Travel Tip: Download any Singapore MRT Map app on your mobile phone as this is really helpful in locating the places you want to see.
So there you go guys and girls. That's the end of our first travel journey. All I can say is it's really a wonderful and unforgettable experience. I hope my blog excites you to travel to this wonderful country. It's also perfect for solo travelers, couples, families and barkadas.
Good news!
My hubby and I are going back to Singapore very soon! Stay tuned! I am very excited to find new discoveries, try more local foods, look for instagrammable places and can't wait to share it with you guys!
