Singapore has a very special place in my heart because it is the first ever country I’ve traveled. And it is extra special because I was with my then ex-boyfriend (now my husband) and it’s his first travel too. It was also our first time on an airplane, first experience of turbulence, the feeling of fastening your seatbelt, first time to see clouds in the air. It's truly a special moment for both of us. So, I want this travel story a little bit more special for you as well. I am currently using all my brain cells (whatever they called) to remember all the things we’ve done three years ago. Yes, it was year 2015 when we first traveled, and I am blogging now in year 2018. (guess it’s better late than never to share the adventure with you, guys?) Happy first blog to me. Yay!

April 2015
My hubby and I were really planning to go to Singapore someday because he has a cousin living in there and she invited us to go to Singapore when find a chance, and that chance came. In April, I was lucky to catch a cheap flight in Cebu Pacific website so I booked a flight as fast as I could.
July 2015
A few days before our very exciting travel, here I am, being lucky again to catch a promo for Universal Studio Singapore. My credit card has a very exciting offer during that month, so we purchased tickets for two at a lower price. Yasss!
D-day - Clark International Airport
Butterflies in our stomach. I’m getting cramps. Heart beats so fast. We arrived at Clark International airport 2 hours before our flight. Checked in, paid travel tax, paid terminal fee and lastly, we passed by the immigration. If my memory is correct, the immigration officer asked me two questions. Where I am working and where I am staying in Singapore. Make sure to bring necessary documents along with you just in case. I even saved a picture of my birth certificates, ITR and Certificate of Employment on my phone but they didn't ask any documents from me. I just want to be prepared so I always prepare my travel documents every time I travel. Then, finally! Hooray! We’re heading to the gate! But we were a bit early and we waited for couple of minutes more for the airplane to arrive.

And, it's boarding time! Heart is beating so fast. . .

See you in a bit, Singapore. . .
