Calling all the Harry Potter fans out there! If you are planning to visit Hongkong, you may want to experience the magical world of Harry Potter at 9 ¾ Café located at 404 Shop, Prosper Commercial Building, 9 Yin Chong Street, Mong Kok, Hongkong. Reservation is required, and cash is the only accepted mode of payment. The minimum consumption per person is HKD80.
See the direction guide below from Google Maps or click this for your guide. The nearest MTR Station from our hotel is Tsim Sha Tsui Station. You can modify your starting point from the link I have provided above.
Honeslty, we had difficult time locating the building itself because the street was actually a wet market.
When you get to the building, take the lift. The cafe is located at the 4th floor of the building. When you alight , turn right. The hallway is narrow. We arrived earlier before the cafe opens and there was already a queue and most of them are students.
And upon getting there, we didn't know that reservation is required. However, the lady was nice, but of course she prioritized the ones who had reservation and let them enter first.
The cafe is small so I recommend to have reservation. I think my hubby and I were just lucky that day as there were only three groups lined up. I guess you can message them on facebook for reservation. When the cafe is finally open to serve us, the lady entertained the customers simultaneously.

Whilst waiting for our order to be served, we took photos of the cafe.
We ordered scallop pasta, blueberry cheesecake and a drink. Prices below the image.

This creamy pasta is so delicious but I think the price is still too expensive for a single serving. I know we are paying for the ambiance but the price is still too much.

The blueberry cheesecake didn't meet my expectation so I felt sad about that. It was just a blueberry cream cake.

And the last one is the iced chocolate drink. Nothing special about the taste. The taste is obvious.
Overall, this is a unique little cafe for Harry Potter fans. It's really a great place to go and very instagrammable. The whole cafe is decorated with amazing details from Wizarding World of Harry Potter; from walls to unique menus, lightings, and even the chairs. It's a thumbs up for me!
